    CATIADesign and Engineering

    Practice CATIA Dymola Behavior Modeling

This module will teach you how to model and simulate the dynamic behavior of a multi-engineering system. You will learn how to search, open and manage the Dymola Behavior libraries. You will also learn how to manage the link between a logical component and a Dymola model.

    About 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
    Level
    Fundamental
    Length
    12 hours

    What you will learn

    • Search and open the Dymola behavior library
    • Edit and simulate an existing dynamic behavior model
    • Create a new dynamic model
    • Insert the model into a functional or logical component
    • Generate the Dymola model from the mechanism
    • Simulate the logical component with a behavior in the Functional & Logical Design app

    • Introduction to the Dymola Behavior Modeling App2 hour
    • Using the Modelica Libraries5 hour
    • Executing the DBM Behavior in the FL Design App2 hour
    • Master Exercise Car Door Opening Mechanism3 hour

    Who it is for

    Dynamic Systems Designers

    Prerequisites

Students attending this learning module should have completed the Explore the 3DSwymer Role module and should be familiar with Functional & Logical Design fundamentals. 3DEXPERIENCE® Roles: 3DSwymer Role, Collaborative Industry Innovator, and Dynamic Systems Designer (It is a commercial role composed of two technical roles, Dynamic Systems Designer and Dynamic Systems Specifier to be assigned to the users.)

Software: 3DSwymer (IFW-OC), Collaborative Industry Innovator (CSV-OC), Mechanical Designer (MDG-OC) and Dynamic Systems Engineer (SNK-OC) (It is a commercial role composed of two technical roles, Dynamic Systems Designer (SDY-OC) and Dynamic Systems Specifier (SDZ-OC) to be assigned to the users.)
