How is CATIA Magic different from the legacy No Magic / Cameo product lines?
CATIA Magic is the evolution of the No Magic suite under Dassault Systèmes. The four core products - Magic Systems of Systems Architect, Magic Cyber-Systems Engineer, Magic Software Architect and Magic Collaboration Studio - retain full compatibility with existing Cameo / No Magic projects, while adding tighter integration with the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform, SysML v2 support and ongoing investment in modelling, simulation and governance.
Which standards and frameworks does CATIA Magic support?
SysML 1.x and SysML v2, UML 2, BPMN, fUML and Alf for execution semantics, plus DoDAF 2.0, MODAF, NAF 3 & 4, UAF 1.3 and UPDM for enterprise / defence architecture. Requirements integration is supported via standard interchange and direct connectors to ALM tools.
Does CATIA Magic integrate with IBM DOORS, Jira, Polarion and our existing ALM stack?
Yes. Cameo DataHub provides bi-directional synchronisation with IBM DOORS, Jira, Polarion and other ALM and PLM tools, so requirements, defects and work items remain consistent across the engineering toolchain. Additional integrations are available for simulation, MATLAB / Simulink and real-time communication (DDS).
